It took a while but today's training session is finally giving me some quality instruction. The training on Office 2010 and Windows 7 was outstanding. I can't wait to start using the new Office 2010 programs.

I didn't hear the news about RAM that I was hoping to hear. Some of our older machines are going to be replaced but who knows when that is going to happen.

Well my training has come to an end and a little early. It was informative but a little disappointing based on the level of the other trainees. Some of the stuff I needed was way over the heads of the others so we got bogged down with other details.

I did get a new computer out of it and if I can get Windows 7 put on it I will be a happy man. Let's keep our fingers crossed that I am ready for another long couple of days next week on Monday and Tuesday.

I'm headed to BG at 3 today which should get me there a little earlier than I thought. Beating the traffic out of town will be a nice perk.

I am very used to be uncomfortable and hot but this is ridiculous. I think that at least we could keep the air on past 3pm if people are willing to stay and work past that point. It is just sapping the energy right out of me.

Even at lunch, I thought I'll go sit down and at least enjoy a nice lunch in the A/C. The Subway I went in was just as hot as at school! Oh well!

Tonight is the last night of marching band practice for a while. I think the band looks good and sounds great at times. I'm just not a fan of the drum parts and think they do not fit the scores at all.
